Database Update Savings
Customers will once again be able to purchase database update subscriptions directly from the Garmin exhibit space. Special offers and discounts will help customers save on select database products for their avionics or flight portables, plus new customers are eligible for additional savings. Subscriptions are available for most Garmin aviation products, including the GNS 430/530 series. Details can be found here.
Aircraft Displays and Product Demonstrations
Customers will have the opportunity to meet Garmin ambassadors, check out aircraft equipped with the latest avionics and view demonstrations by Garmin experts.
Aircraft displays will include the following Garmin-equipped aircraft:
- Custom Super Cub – “Scrappy” by Mike Patey
- Bonanza C35 – Stevie Triesenberg
- Cessna 182
- Cirrus SR-22
Product demonstrations will feature a Garmin expert showing the latest features of Garmin avionics. Plus, we’ll be showcasing our Collier Trophy-winning Autoland technology — the first certified GA system designed to control and land an aircraft in an emergency situation. Customers will also have the opportunity to consult with a Garmin expert on upgrading the avionics in their aircraft, ask questions regarding their experimental avionics installations and more.
One of the more popular AirVenture experiences at the Garmin exhibit include attending a series of educational Garmin aviation seminars. Ranging from an overview of our latest products, such as the GI 275 and GTN Xi series, to cost-effective autopilot upgrades, these free seminars offer pilots and customers a broad overview of the latest Garmin has to offer. A full list of the seminars can be found at https://www.garmin.com/en-US/airventure2022/schedule/monday/.
New this year, Garmin is hosting type-club specific seminars that will cover a different type of aircraft each day throughout the week. Hear from pilots and dealers who have experience flying with and installing Garmin avionics in the featured aircraft.
