A look at an HAI member up close and personal.
An FAA Part 135 operator since 1979, Analar Corp. of Princeton, New Jersey, operates a charter helicopter service and performs operations, maintenance, and management of helicopters and business jets in New York and New Jersey. The company has operated continuously since 1979 without an accident, incident, or unscheduled landing, according to Analar. As a result of its safety programs and protocols, Analar has held the ARG/US (Aviation Research Group/US) gold rating for operational excellence since 2005.
Originally established as the corporate flight department for a major corporation, Analar today provides both management services to aircraft owners and flight services for passengers from its Princeton and Kearny, New Jersey, locations. It offers a full range of maintenance and repair services in addition to luxury custom completions and refurbishings.
Helicopter Fleet
For charter operations, Analar offers a menu of single- and twin-engine helicopters for access to destinations along the Eastern Seaboard:
- Airbus AS365 Dauphin and AS355 TwinStar
- Bell 206 JetRanger and 430
- Leonardo AW109
- Sikorsky S-76.
Analar views its most valuable asset beyond its reliable aircraft as its dedicated, highly skilled staff. The company maintains a team of qualified, factory-certified mechanics who equally ensure the highest level of maintenance support for both the company’s own aircraft and those of its customers. Analar’s full-service maintenance shop provides total airframe and engine service; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and inspections; repairs; overhauls; logbook reviews; and aircraft appraisals.
Completion Services
In addition to maintenance, Analar operates a full completion shop that specializes in custom interiors designed to meet each client’s unique tastes. Its services in this department include refurbishments, repairs, leather restoration, custom stenciling, paint repair, and full interior completions. The company has provided these services for more than 30 years, crediting its experience and craftsmanship with the reason customers return to Analar again and again.
Aircraft Management
Analar also puts its more than 40 years of operations experience to work providing aircraft management for a variety of customers, from managing all aspects of operations and maintenance to hiring flight crews, recommending equipment, coordinating flight schedules, and training ground crews.
As an auxiliary part of aircraft management, Analar also offers customers a shared ownership program, helping those interested in having a more dedicated aircraft available for their use while sharing the overall expense of ownership. Analar works with customers to manage the aircraft, consult on tax advantages, provide wider access to landing spots reserved only for private aircraft, and oversee scheduling and operations.
