Woman-owned small business supplies aircraft, aviation support, and services to government agencies as part of long-term GSA contract.
Established in 2009 in Columbus, Ohio, Davenport Aviation is a woman-owned small business that provides mission-ready aircraft, materials, parts, equipment, equipment packages, training, and program management for government and commercial operators.
A member of the US General Services Administration (GSA) since 2016, Davenport Aviation markets itself as a go-to expert in the industry and a preferred vendor for the rapid procurement of various aerospace solutions. The company has worked with agencies at the federal, state, and local levels to offer the right aviation solution for the mission at hand.
The company provides:
- Aircraft parts, equipment, and components
- Aircraft engines and engine parts and equipment
- Helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft
- Search, detection, and guidance systems
- Transportation supplies
- Other measuring and control devices.
The company’s core products are available for purchase through GSA Advantage, GSA eBuy, cooperative purchasing, the US Department of Defense 1122 Program, and on the open market.
H145 Added to Product Line
Davenport Aviation continually strives to diversify its product line. In January 2023, the company added the Airbus Helicopters H145 to the GSA schedule.
“We’re incredibly excited to add the H145 to our portfolio of Airbus products,” said Rob McMillin, Davenport’s VP of aircraft and aircraft systems, in January. Suitable for law enforcement, search-and-rescue (SAR), air medical, and other applications, the H145’s addition to GSA through Davenport was heralded as an expansion of the aircraft’s availability to federal, state, and local agencies across the United States.
“We are confident the H145 has the capability to support the critical missions of government agencies across the United States,” said Treg Manning, VP of sales and marketing for North America at Airbus Helicopters, in a news release. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with Davenport Aviation as a trusted supplier of our aircraft to government operators.”
Supporting Agency Missions
Davenport has completed or delivered aircraft for several US government agencies, including Airbus H125s to the Baltimore (Maryland) Police Department and the Albuquerque (New Mexico) Police Department, an Airbus H135 to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and an Airbus H125 to the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
