In response to the 2020 pandemic, Congress created several COVID-19 funding streams that provided economic relief to certain sectors of the economy. As part of those efforts, HAI secured Part 135 operator eligibility for the Air Carrier Loan and Payroll Support Program. This funding eventually totaled more than $396 million that went to HAI members directly.
This year, we celebrate the 75th anniversary of HAI, formed on Dec. 13, 1948.
