To give future helicopter pilots, maintenance technicians, and other rotorcraft professionals an opportunity to advance their skills and careers, HAI WAS THERE in 1983 to establish a student category of membership. The goal was, and still is, to provide those interested in pursuing a vertical aviation career access to additional resources and opportunities.
Today, HAI’s student members can apply for exclusive members-only scholarships, enjoy training and tuition discounts, and attend career fairs. Student members can also contribute to shaping the future of the industry by participating in HAI’s working groups. There, they can network with industry veterans, help build the vertical aviation community, and learn valuable leadership skills.
Ultimately, our student members will become tomorrow’s industry leaders.
This year, we celebrate the 75th anniversary of HAI, formed on Dec. 13, 1948.
