Phenix Solutions is proud to announce successful completion of company flight test with their Multi-Capable Distribution Platform – Demonstrator known as the “Half-Pint”, last week. The Half Pint was showcased alongside the Company’s larger Heavy Lift UAS Aircraft the Ultra 2XL in Atlanta at the HAI Heli-Expo in March 2023. Since Heli Expo, Phenix Solutions prepared the Half Pint for a Medium Utility Lift System Flight Tests at our FAA UAS Flight Test Range.
Brian Riese, President and CEO of Phenix Solutions, expressed excitement about the week-long test by saying, “The Half Pint is a very capable aircraft and shows promise as a Utility Lift System. The Half-Pint is a turbine powered aircraft and has a useful payload of roughly 250 lbs. Combined with a low operating cost, the Half Pint is an ideal aircraft for customer entry into the Medium Cargo UAS marketplace. Next up for the Half Pint, Phenix will conduct a Distribution Platform Cargo Demonstration for one of our customers, as well as participation in an AAM Flight Demonstration in conjunction with our Teammates at the University of Alaska later this summer.
