Trakka Systems announces the Force Aérienne de Burkina Faso has purchased eleven TC-300 long-range HD EO/IR camera systems and TM-100 full-featured mission mapping and video management units for the Airbus H125.  These H125 helicopters will be used for security, surveillance, and SAR missions protecting borders, troops, and critical infrastructure in Burkina Faso.

“Trakka Systems is pleased to be a part of the Burkina Faso Airforce efforts to modernize their fleet of helicopters with its strategic partner Trade Circle Investment Ltd. Trakka Systems strives to deliver exceptional products coupled with astounding customer service,” said Glen Rowling, Vice President of Trakka Systems.

The TrakkaCam TC-300 is a versatile, compact, long-range, multi-sensor surveillance system designed for installation on various manned and unmanned platforms. Its advanced features and sophisticated image processors are embedded within the single-LRU configuration and feature 4-axis, active gyro-stabilization, and integrated 6-axis passive isolation to provide highly stable, crystal clear high-definition imagery.

Advanced image processing modes, such as image blending, split-screen, and picture-in-picture, allow users to simultaneously exploit images from the different sensors and extract details that would otherwise go undetected by a single sensor. Another feature, Moving Target Detection (MTI), is embedded right into the system. The TC-300 is a Non-ITAR exportable product, and RTCA DO-160 tested for environmental, electromagnetic, and mechanical compliance, making it ideal for use in even the harshest environments.

TM-100 is a full-featured mission mapping and video management system that can run on various computer platforms, including notebooks and ruggedized laptops. The affordable and flexible architecture is easily customizable with open-source and proprietary secure databases. Designed to integrate with TrakkaCam cameras and TrakkaBeam searchlights, the TM-100 can slew the camera and searchlight line of sight to any point on the map with the touch of the screen, mouse click, address, intersection, city, points of interest, or coordinate entries. The TM-100’s intuitive touchscreen controls offer 3D, street, satellite, and custom map views, with augmented reality overlays on live video imagery.
