Congress takes a bipartisan approach to critical legislation for US aviation.

Alexandria, VA (May 3, 2024) – Vertical Aviation International (VAI) applauds congressional leaders for moving forward with a bipartisan FAA reauthorization bill.

“The FAA reauthorization bill provides significant improvements for general aviation and the vertical aviation industry specifically,” says James Viola, VAI president and CEO. “This legislation supports a number of priorities that VAI has actively endorsed, including aviation safety, workforce development, and advanced air mobility.”

VAI urges the Senate and the House to complete their work and pass the bill before the current authorization expires on May 10.
