VAI is currently developing programming for the VERTICON 2025 Elevations courses (formerly known as the HAI Professional Education Courses) and seeks proposals from qualified persons or vendors for courses to include in the curriculum. VERTICON, formerly known as HAI HELI-EXPO, will take place Mar. 10–13 (exhibits open Mar. 11–13), 2025,  in Dallas, Texas.

To provide a high-quality program for industry professionals, VAI continuously strives to enhance, expand, and adjust course offerings. To that end, VAI is accepting proposals for courses on new subject matter as well as competitive proposals for previously offered courses. Proposals are due May 31, 2024.

As a member service organization, VAI aims to select courses on subjects of interest to VERTICON attendees and its members, including helicopter pilots, aviation mechanics and engineers, instructors and trainers, students, managers, and other vertical aviation professions. All proposed course content should, at a minimum, be directly applicable to that community.

VAI provides professional development and educational opportunities that are affordable, realistic options for most members. Each VERTICON Elevations course is chosen to strengthen the essential skills of vertical aviation professionals in one of these areas:

  • Career Development
  • Human Factors
  • Insurance Issues
  • International Operations
  • Maintenance Management
  • Operations Management
  • Personnel Development and Leadership
  • Pilot Skills
  • Safety Management
  • Tax Issues
  • Uncrewed Operations.
